Respiratory / Neuro Diagnostics Specialist

This position requires a Respiratory Therapist with expertise in various respiratory care procedures. The therapist will be expected to float between units as required. Weekend work is mandatory every other weekend. The role involves floor care, emergency response, and rapid response duties. The work environment will consist of a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. The candidate should have experience with a wide range of respiratory therapies and equipment. Additional skills needed include aerosol setup, interpretation of arterial blood gases, and tracheostomy care. The candidate should be comfortable troubleshooting high-pressure alarms and weaning patients from mechanical ventilation. This role may also require supporting patients in the emergency department and during trauma situations. Successful candidates will have references covering experience within the last three years. Compliance documentation is mandatory before starting the role.
