Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

CT Technologist - CT Tech

Job Details:

• Work day shifts with variable schedule, 30-40 hours per week

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

• Perform variety of radiographic and computed tomography procedures requiring skilled technical level

• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation for diagnostic purposes

• Conduct routine radiographic procedures, CT exams, and fluoroscopic procedures including pediatric, adult, trauma, routine, portables, STAT, and surgery exams

• Assist radiologist with diagnostic CT procedures and record information for physician dictation

• Maintain quality assurance of all department equipment including tracking mechanical failures and issuing service requests

• Monitor inventory and supplies to ensure appropriate supply levels

• Verify existence and accuracy of exam requests and consents

• Potential to cover in orthopedic clinic for half of the time

• California Registered Radiologic Technologist license required

• California Registered Fluoroscopy permit required

• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required

• CT, X-ray, and fluoroscopy experience required
