Parts Inventory Specialist

This entry level Warehouse position is responsible for properly ordering, receiving, storing, and accounting for parts or merchandise. Responsibilities Timely processing of sending and receiving of parts shipments (i.e. Customer & Stock Orders, Machine Down, Transfers, & Surplus Returns) Posts freight to work orders or counter tickets as needed for parts orders & transfers Performs cycle counting duties to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory; reports discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products Assists in keeping parts department clean and orderly Ensures that the technician or customer receives the proper part on time as promised; call customers for parts pick-up and delivers parts if necessary Assists Manager with merchandising displays by re-stocking showroom inventory Maintains a safe working environment and adheres to company safety program at all times Performs other duties as assigned Requirements Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge: High School diploma or equivalent experience Experience connecting with customers, maintains professional image, establishes rapport Demonstrates basic understanding of the selling processes Demonstrates ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence.
