Pay: From $68-$70(W2)-$70-$75 (1099)/ per hour | Full-time and part-time available

Location: NYC Schools | Opportunities Across All Boroughs

Schedule: Monday–Friday, school hours (no weekends, no evenings, school calendar)

We're hiring licensed OTs to provide school-based occupational therapy to students in NYC schools. New grads welcome! TAG MedStaffing is hiring Occupational Therapists for our client, supporting pediatric occupational therapy services, sensory integration, fine motor development, and functional skill building within a school-based setting. This role will work closely with educators, therapists, families, and support staff to help students improve their ability to participate successfully in educational and daily living activities. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a collaborative approach, and a passion for working with children with developmental and learning needs.

Responsibilities as the Occupational Therapist:

• Student Evaluations: Conduct screenings, assessments, and ongoing evaluations to identify functional, developmental, and educational support needs.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Develop and implement individualized treatment plans designed to improve sensory processing, fine motor skills, gross motor skills, and classroom participation.
• IEP Support: Contribute to the development of IEP goals, attend conferences, and provide recommendations to support student progress and educational access.
• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Partner with teachers, therapists, families, and support staff to coordinate services and promote student success.
• Documentation & Compliance: Maintain accurate treatment records, progress reports, evaluations, attendance records, and required educational documentation.
• Family & Staff Education: Provide guidance, training, and recommendations regarding therapeutic strategies, adaptive techniques, and functional skill development.

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Occupational Therapist license required
• Ability to manage caseload and documentation effectively
