This position requires a compassionate approach to caring for children aged 3-10 with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Key Responsibilities of the Peace: 3 East Child Psych RN

• Deescalate situations with agitated patients using soft skills and communication
• Regularly inform families and parents of patient status
• Assist with full or partial ADLs and promote good hygiene practices
• Work collaboratively with MHTs, unit coordinators, and other support staff

Requirements of the Peace: 3 East Child Psych RN

• BLS certification
• CPI certification obtained on-site
• Experience with deescalation and communication in a high-demand environment
