Number of Staff: 85

Patient Ratios: 2:1 for ICU, 4:1 for PCU

Type of Equipment: Critical Care Equipment, Burn ICU and Trauma ICU Technology

EMR: Meditech

The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Burn Trauma ICU is responsible for providing high-quality care to critically ill patients requiring specialized treatment. The role demands strong communication and critical thinking skills, as well as experience in trauma, burn, and surgical ICU settings.

Typical Procedures

• Wound care
• Codes and emergency response
• External Ventricular Drains (EVDs)
• Mass Transfusion Protocol (MTP)

Required Skills

• Experience in Trauma, Burn, and Surgical ICU
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Certified Critical Care Nurse (CCRN)

The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, willing to ask questions, and eager to assist others in providing the best patient care.

Floating Areas: MSICU, CVICU, Neuro ICU, or any PCU unit

Dress Code: Royal Blue scrubs

Weekend Requirements: 2 weekends per pay period
