Job Summary

The Hybrid Assembly & Technical Support Technician is responsible for supporting both manufacturing operations and technical support services. This position combines hands-on assembly and fabrication responsibilities with Level-1 help desk support for equipment, connectivity devices, and operational tools.

Working under the direction of the Assembly Lead and Help Desk Lead, this role performs production tasks, maintains equipment, provides technical troubleshooting, manages service requests, and supports the lifecycle of hardware and connectivity devices. Success in this position requires strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in both manufacturing and technical support environments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Assembly & Manufacturing

• Assemble and fabricate parts according to work orders, specifications, and company policies.
• Verify work orders and ensure correct revision levels before production.
• Maintain high-quality standards throughout the production process.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and assigned work areas in a clean, organized, and safe condition.
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies without exception.

Technical Support & Operations

• Monitor support channels, including ticketing systems, phone, email, and operational alerts.
• Serve as the first point of contact for technical incidents and service requests.
• Create, manage, and document service tickets.
• Perform Level-1 troubleshooting for hardware, connectivity devices, and operational tools.
• Gather diagnostic information including logs, user reports, and device status.
• Escalate complex issues to senior technical staff or engineering teams when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation within the ticketing system

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in manufacturing, assembly, technical support, or related operational environments preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to assemble products and troubleshoot equipment.
• Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately document work performed.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule

This position will primarily work in conjunction with the Assembly Department hours unless filling in for a Help Desk Role.

1st Shift Assembly Hours:

• 4:45am-3:15pm Monday-Thursday

Day Shift Help Desk:

• 6am-6pm rotating schedule with every other weekend off – Holidays Required
