Social Media Internship Summer

This is a Social Media internship built around one of the most active moments in CrewLAB’s year: the Summer Smasher challenge — a community-wide challenge inside the CrewLAB app spanning teams across swimming, running, and rowing. You will work directly with CrewLAB’s marketing team to manage the social media content calendar across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube , plan and execute mini-campaigns that grow the community, and turn real activity happening inside the app into engaging content for coaches and athletes. By the end of the program, you will have built a portfolio of published content and helped run a major community campaign from launch through final wrap. Your mission Help bring the energy of the Summer Smasher challenge to life across CrewLAB’s social media channels. Turn moments from inside the app — leaderboards, milestones, coach insights, and community highlights — into engaging content that reaches coaches and athletes beyond the platform. Learn how a sports technology startup runs a social media campaign during a live community event. What you will do Content Creation Campaign Execution Analytics & Performance The Ideal Candidate Hybrid workspace: Able to work in person at MIT iHQ on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. Background: Rowing/Running/Swimming, especially at a high level (collegiate). Current or recent grad in Marketing, Business, Economics, or related field. Avid learner: The ideal candidate is eager to learn and improve, and revels in opportunities to grow their skills. Team player: The ideal candidate gets satisfaction from working with and helping out their teammates and thrives in a group environment. Organized and self-directed: Able to manage a multi-platform content calendar and keep campaigns running smoothly. Mentorship from CrewLAB’s Head of Digital Marketing. Real ownership of a high-visibility campaign during one of CrewLAB’s most active community moments. A portfolio of published work across Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube . Stipend pay.
