Risk Manager

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in Dallas, TX that is seeking a Risk Manager to oversee property insurance claims for a real estate portfolio. This role serves as the liaison between property managers and insurance adjusters, helping manage claims, review coverage, submit supporting documentation, and ensure timely claim resolution. Property insurance claims management includes coordinating claim documentation, working with adjusters, and supporting recovery efforts. Responsibilities:

• Manage property insurance claims from submission through resolution
• Serve as the primary contact between property managers and insurance adjusters
• Submit invoices, claim documentation, and supporting materials
• Advise property managers on coverage and claim processes
• Monitor claim progress and resolve outstanding issues
• Track claim recoveries and maintain accurate records
• Support risk management and claims reporting activities

Skills

• 3+ years of insurance claims, risk management, or property management experience
• Experience handling commercial property insurance claims
• Strong understanding of insurance coverage and claims processes
• Excellent communication and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple claims simultaneously

Preferred:

• Real estate or commercial property management experience
• Large-loss property claims experience
• Insurance carrier or brokerage background

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.


We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
