High School Mathematics Teacher

Cardinal O’Hara High School is looking for a dedicated full-time Mathematics teacher for our co‑educational Catholic high school. The successful candidate will have strong curriculum development skills and an ability to foster creativity in students; a broad knowledge in all aspects of mathematics instruction and classroom management techniques; and the ability to integrate faith and Catholic social teaching throughout the curriculum. Core Responsibilities Establish positive, appropriate and faith‑based relationships with students. Develop lesson plans and instructional materials that meet the school’s curriculum goals as well as the individual needs of each student. Establish and maintain standards of student behavior needed to achieve a functional learning atmosphere in the classroom. Evaluate students’ academic and social growth, keep appropriate records, and prepare reports relating to student progress. Communicate with parents, if applicable, through conferences and other means to discuss student progress and interpret the school program. Identify student needs and cooperate with other professional staff members in assessing and helping students solve problems that may arise. Participate in faculty and department meetings. Positive communication with parents, staff, and students. Bachelor’s Degree in Education or a content‑related field required.
