Join us.Job DescriptionAECOM is seeking a highly experienced Client Account Manager/Senior Project Manager - Environmental Compliance focused with expertise in environmental health & safety compliance and account management to support business growth and client engagement. This role is ideal for a proven sales leader with an existing book of clients, strong relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of environmental compliance strategies. The selected candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, driving revenue growth, and delivering innovative environmental solutions.This hybrid position can be based out of AECOM's offices in Houston, TX; Austin, TX; Chicago, IL; Cincinnati, OH; Denver, CO; Fort Collins, CO; Minneapolis, MN; or Orange, CA. We are also open to candidates not located in these areas, however, must be located within the Western Region of the United States.Key Responsibilities include:Develop and execute business strategies to expand AECOM’s environmental compliance services.Maintain and grow existing client relationships while identifying new opportunities in the public and private sectors.Leverage an existing book of clients to generate sales and secure high-value environmental projects.Work closely with internal teams to develop and present proposals, technical solutions, and service offerings.Negotiate contracts and service agreements to align with client needs and financial objectives.Provide industry insight and stay updated on environmental regulations, compliance standards, and emerging trends.Support cross-business collaboration to provide integrated environmental solutions across multiple sectors.Meet or exceed sales targets while contributing to the long-term strategic vision of AECOM.About AECOM’s Environment Business Line Join AECOM to be part of an expert global team who is connected through a well-developed, worldwide, internal technical practice network through which you can learn from and brainstorm with the best in the world. Our global clients and their projects span a variety of market sectors and geographies and require innovative technical solutions to solve wide-ranging environmental problems.QualificationsMinimum Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, engineering, business, or related field. 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education in managing client accounts, sales and drive business development initiatives within environmental compliance services.Travel of 25-50% will be required, as this is a client facing role.Valid US Driver's License and pre-employment driving record verification are required.Due to the nature of the work, US Citizenship is required.Preferred Qualifications:Master’s degree is highly preferred.10+ years of experience in account management, sales, and environmental compliance services.Experience leading large-scale environmental compliance projects.Strong understanding of environmental regulations, permitting, and compliance.Established industry relationships with clients in government, energy, commercial, and industrial sectors.Experience in contract negotiations, sales forecasting, and revenue management.Ability to work in a matrixed organization, coordinating across multiple teams and disciplines.Proficiency in CRM tools, data analytics, and sales tracking platforms.Additional InformationAt AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
