Position Details:

• Three onsite Special Education Teacher roles (35 hours/week; August 19, 2026 – June 14, 2027)
• High school pilot program: Support students with executive function challenges, Autism, and severe behaviors; foster real-world life and employment skills; partner with technical center.
• Elementary caseload: Collaborate with a team of four educators and PT/OT support staff; serve students with learning disabilities and high functioning Autism.

Qualifications:

• Valid Vermont Teaching License with at least one relevant Special Education Endorsement (Special Educator, Special Education Consulting Teacher, or Intensive Special Education).
• Ability to think creatively and adapt in flexible, evolving environments.
• Background check/fingerprinting (district accepts recently approved records from other assignments).
