Homecare Caregiver Kokomo
Job Summary:
Altra Homecare of Kokomo is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Homecare Caregivers in Kokomo, Indiana. As a Homecare Caregiver, you will provide essential personal care services to patients in the comfort of their own homes, tailored to meet their unique needs and preferences. Our company slogan, "n/a", reflects our commitment to delivering exceptional care and exceeding patient expectations.
Responsibilities:
Assist patients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
Provide medication reminders and administer medications as prescribed
Ensure patient safety by monitoring vital signs, administering oxygen therapy, and assisting with ambulation
Provide meal preparation and assistance with feeding
Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
Offer companion services, including letter-writing and reading
Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties
Requirements:
Must be 18 years of age or older
Possess a valid Driver's License and Auto Insurance
Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided
Current CPR certification
Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws
