Per Diem Position - 29267

The Medical Receptionist provides front office support by assisting patients in person and over the phone, scheduling appointments, verifying insurance coverage, processing payments, and maintaining accurate patient records in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system. Responsibilities include patient registration, appointment confirmations, managing daily worklists, collecting co-pays, reconciling daily cash collections, and providing administrative support to ensure efficient clinic operations and excellent customer service.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and general office equipment
• Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
• Bilingual skills preferred but not required (English/Spanish, English/Punjabi, or English/Hmong)
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and push up to 100 pounds (on wheels)
• Ability to stand, bend, squat, kneel, reach, and twist throughout the workday
• Manual dexterity and adequate vision and hearing required for front office and computer-related duties
• May be exposed to contagious or infectious diseases in the workplace
