RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work in Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) located next to the operating room on the 2nd floor
• Call requirements include 1 weekend and 1 night per week
• Day shift includes charge nurse and usually a float nurse
• Night shift operates as on-call with 2 PACU nurses
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Work with 26-bed unit serving various surgical specialties
• Handle patients from general, neuro, oncology, orthopedic, and vascular surgical procedures
• Use Meditech EMR system
• ICU and PACU experience required - candidates without these skills will not be considered
• ACLS certification required
• May float to Day Surgery unit
• Follow ASPAN guidelines
• Dress code requires royal blue scrubs or hospital-provided scrubs
• Work with state-of-the-art equipment and amazing staff
• Ideal candidate should be easy going and pleasant
