Description:
Seeking a Registered Nurse for a Bone Marrow specialty unit.
The unit has a total of 40 beds, with a target patient ratio of 1:3 and a stretch ratio of 1:4.
Unit staffing includes unit secretaries and patient care technicians.
Technological equipment includes bedside monitors and computers, as well as lift assist devices.
Documentation is performed using Meditech.
Staff will rotate weekends and may float to other areas as needed.
Patient experience practices include bedside shift reports and safety rounds.
BMT procedures performed infrequently include bone marrow biopsies.
Outstanding teamwork and a welcoming atmosphere for contract employees are emphasized.
The unit has received five-time accreditation for high standards.
The facility performs various transplant procedures, including CAR-T therapies.
This position offers an opportunity to work in a supportive and advanced clinical environment.
