Job Description
Title: Registered Nurse - Mixed Acuity Unit

Schedule:
- Days & weekends: Ratios 1:3-5
- Nights: Ratios 1:3-6
- Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Assignment Details:
- Daily census: ~24; Beds: 25; Rooms: 12

Requirements:
- NY license required
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- PCU/IMC experience within the last 3 years
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- EPIC experience required for submission

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a mixed-acuity setting.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, including telemetry and post-operative care.
- Administer medications and manage IV therapies, including insulin protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Educate patients and families about care plans and disease management.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 12 hours (unit-specific)
- RTO (time-off restriction): 7 days MAX
- Candidates within 75 miles may not be accepted; confirm distance requirement.
