Production Supervisor - 2nd shift

Production SupervisorA production supervisor is responsible for developing quality manufacturing associates (QMAS) and directing their job assignments. A production supervisor will also provide technical hands on leadership to the production staff. Must also convey a professional attitude towards all employees while recognizing the responsibility to meet production schedules.Duties and responsibilities:Safely perform assigned tasks completely and efficiently. Comply with department policies, procedures and work instructions including the TASUS Quality Management SystemUnderstand and ensure team is following the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Handle performance, disciplinary and attendance issues. Review employee performance as outlined in handbookComplete shift documents and reportsEffectively communicate with other departments and escalate appropriate issues within their departmentAssist production staff with TPS meetings and projects.Qualifications:High School Diploma or equivalentMinimum 3 years' experience in direct supervisor. Must have hands-on leadership ability.Possess excellent communication skillsAbility to work and lead in a team environment and maintain and encourage positive attitudesAbility to work in a safe manner and follow safety policies and proceduresStrong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office toolsWorking conditions:Manufacturing environment where Personal Protective Equipment is required.Physical requirements:Standing for long periods of timeMust be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds and occasionally maneuver up to 40 pounds.Must be able to occasionally reach, bend, kneel and squatDirect reports:Quality Manufacturing AssociatesQuality Manufacturing Leads
