Job Full Description Property Manager Assistant Pay: $16.50
Location: Gulfport, MS
Position Summary
The Property Manager Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support for residential properties. This position assists with tenant relations, leasing support, maintenance coordination, and general office administration. The role serves as a key support point for residents, vendors, and the property management team to ensure smooth daily operations and high-quality service across all assigned communities. The ideal candidate is organized, customer-focused, and able to thrive in a fast-paced property management environment.
Key Responsibilities Tenant Support: Assist residents with questions, requests, and general property-related concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Leasing Support: Help coordinate property tours, process rental applications, and assist with lease preparation and renewals.
Maintenance Coordination: Submit, track, and follow up on maintenance requests with vendors and maintenance staff to ensure timely resolution.
Administrative Support: Perform general office duties including filing, data entry, correspondence, and document preparation.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate tenant files, lease agreements, inspection reports, and property records.
Rent & Notices Support: Assist with rent collection processes, delinquency notices, and tenant communication as directed.
Scheduling: Coordinate appointments, inspections, move-ins, move-outs, and property showings.
Office Coordination: Support daily office operations including supplies, mail handling, and internal communications.
Customer Service: Serve as a professional point of contact for tenants, vendors, and internal team members.
Requirements Experience: One (1) year of property management, leasing, administrative assistant, receptionist, or customer service experience preferred.
Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); property management software experience preferred.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional demeanor.
Organization: Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities with strong attention to detail.
Customer Service: Ability to interact professionally with tenants, vendors, and team members.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
