Housekeeper Position

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that our residential or commercial spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing floors to maintain pristine conditions.
• Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing with care and efficiency.
• Prepare and cook basic meals or snacks as needed to support household or client requests.
• Manage sanitation procedures to ensure all areas meet health and safety standards, including bathroom sanitation and waste disposal.
• Conduct outdoor work such as yard maintenance, trash removal, and light gardening to uphold property appearance.
• Safely perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of furniture, supplies, or equipment while adhering to safety protocols.
• Maintain organized storage of cleaning supplies and equipment; manage housekeeping schedules effectively using time management skills.
• Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and ensuring a positive experience for residents or guests.
• Utilize janitorial and custodial techniques for commercial or residential cleaning projects, including carpet cleaning and floor care treatments.
• Follow proper sanitation procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent contamination and ensure hygiene standards are met.

Experience

• Previous experience in residential or commercial cleaning environments is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with janitorial tasks such as floor care, carpet cleaning, sanitation practices, and custodial duties.
• Hands-on experience with laundry operations and outdoor property maintenance is a plus.
• Background in hospitality settings such as hotels or similar service industries is advantageous.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management practices to coordinate daily tasks efficiently.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and outdoor work requirements.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
