Claims Intake Specialist

To support client turnaround times for claim payment and authorization determination, the part-time Claims Intake Specialist will manage daily workflows, provide second-tier support to data entry processors, and handle special requests in a fully remote environment. Key responsibilities: Manage daily work plans and distribute tasks to ensure timely client turnaround Provide second-tier support for data entry discrepancies and coordinate resolution with relevant departments Review reporting and work queues, ensuring all issues are resolved prior to claim payment and authorization review Required qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent 1+ years of experience in claim processing, dental front office administration, or health/dental insurance Successful completion of a pre-employment data entry assessment with a minimum score of 7000 KSPH and 98% accuracy Knowledge of insurance EOBs and billing codes Basic proficiency in Microsoft applications Virtual Vocations Inc
