Job Title: RN-Registered Nurse
Location: East Syracuse, NY

Job Summary:
We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join a dedicated clinical team providing outpatient oncology care. This position offers a Monday through Friday schedule with daytime hours. The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, administering prescribed medications and treatments, and collaborating with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in an outpatient clinical setting.
Administer prescribed medications, including chemotherapy treatments, in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols.
Accurately document patient assessments, treatments, medications, and responses to care.
Prepare equipment and assist physicians during patient examinations, treatments, and diagnostic procedures.
Monitor patient conditions and respond appropriately to changes or emergencies.
Maintain knowledge of organizational policies, clinical procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Operate and maintain medical equipment safely and effectively.
Identify patient care concerns and recommend appropriate interventions.
Maintain accurate patient records, reports, and other required documentation.
Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, families, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members.
Ensure a safe clinical environment by following infection control and safety protocols.
Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff.

Qualifications
Education:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse).

Licensure:

Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of professional nursing principles, practices, and patient care standards.
Experience administering medications and specialty treatments in accordance with clinical protocols.
Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
Strong organizational, documentation, and time management abilities.
Ability to remain calm and effective during emergency situations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
