Our ideal candidate has minimum of 4-8 years of experience, a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, the willingness to work cohesively within a team, and the ability to work on multiple projects. Additionally, we offer a creative, flexible, supportive and fun environment!
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Manage projects, staff and clients.
- Work with multi-disciplinary teams on tasks such as work zone traffic, intersection design, traffic signal design, roadway signing and pavement marking plans, DOT access permitting, control plans and traffic signal operations analysis.
- Assist in the preparation specifications, plans, construction schedules, impact studies, permits, and designs for projects.
- Assist with traffic/parking studies, corridor planning, feasibility studies, and safety audits.
- Coordinate with field inspection staff and serve as an on-site project representative.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
- Professional Engineering (PE) license in NJ required (or ability to obtain within first 6 months)
- Professional Traffic Operations Engineer (PTOE) desirable
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with design standards, NJDOT experience (desirable)
- Knowledge of CADD Software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work on multiple projects and ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid Driver’s License
Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 (depending on qualifications)
