Job Summary: The Guest Services Coordinator accepts rental reservations,maintainsexisting rental reservations, checks tenants in and out of properties, and coordinates maintenance and cleaning services. Essential Responsibilities: 1. Discusses rental plans and needs by phone and/or shows properties to prospective tenants; executes leases for owners. 2.Inspectsall properties before accepting reservations and advisesowner astonecessary improvements before offering property to rent togeneralpublic. Maintainsaccuratemaintenance and cleaning records and posts accounts accordingly. 3.Checkstenants into and out of properties before any move-out deposits are returned. Posts funds to owners’ accounts and deposits funds accordingly advisingappropriate parties, in writing, of any move-out debrisin accordance withprocedure. Directs all disbursements and accounting information to the Guest Services Accounting Coordinator, along with collected funds asrequired. 4. Approves seasonal and year-round tenants for accounts following clearances after thoroughapplicationreference checking. 5. Corresponds with owners, verbally or in writing,regardingvacancies, new tenants, inspections, results, market-rent values, maintenance,cleaningand monthly statements answering all owners’ written correspondence within a specifiedtimeframe. Documents all verbal correspondence andmaintainsrecords of written correspondence. 6. Responds to calls from new accounts,meetswith owners forinitialpresentation of Long & Foster Guest Services Division services. Prepares listing agreements and provides owner with executed copy of rental agreement. Qualifications: High School diploma or equivalent combination of training and experience,previousexperience as a rental coordinator or property manager, excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to work independently andmaintainflexible schedule. Weekend workrequiredduringsummerseason. Real estate license injurisdictionin whichincumbentwill be workingrequired. Must be a member of the National, State, and Local Association of Realtors.
