Job Title: Industrial Controls & Automation Technician

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Automation & Controls Technician to support the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and optimization of advanced automated systems within a high-volume manufacturing or distribution environment. This role is critical to maintaining uptime and operational efficiency across PLC-controlled equipment, robotics, and automated production systems, ensuring optimal performance and minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on automated equipment and control systems

• Monitor system performance and proactively identify risks to production uptime

• Support installation, startup, and commissioning of new automation systems, equipment upgrades, and process improvements

• Assist engineering teams with integration of robotics, conveyors, machinery and automated material handling systems

• Calibrate sensors, instrumentation, and control components for optimal performance

• Read, interpret, and modify electrical schematics, ladder logic diagrams, and wiring layouts

• Perform panel wiring, field device installation, and control system modifications

• Troubleshoot motors, drives, relays, sensors, and control circuits

• Maintain and update CMMS documentation, work orders, and maintenance logs

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $66518.40 - $100000.00/yr.
