In your catering supervisor role, you will lead a student crew to set up and serve catered events in our building and surrounding buildings on campus. From morning breaks to weddings to VIP events, no two days are the same. We are looking for a self-motivated, high-energy person to lead our catering teams and to be the point of contact ensuring that every event is successful. Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds frequently needed Work Schedule and Location: 100% onsite Variable schedule-including nights and weekends to support events. Key Job Responsibilities: Leads and provides exceptional customer service, answers questions, and provides information regarding food preparation, catering, and associated activities Prepares, presents, and executes catered events Adheres to federal, state, campus, and local food safety regulations, policies, and procedures Assigns and coordinates the day-to-day activities of food service staff Cleans, inspects, and maintains kitchen equipment and work areas Department: Wisconsin Union, Dining & Hospitality, Catering, Union South Compensation: The expected starting salary is 22.50/ hour. This position will also receive additional pay for weekend and night hours.
