Quality Assurance Technician - Canton, OhioHourly Rate: $20.00 - $26.00/HR A well-established hand tool manufacturer located in Canton has an immediate need for a Quality Assurance Technician.RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GEDMust have 1+ year experience as a Quality TechnicianExperience with inspection tools (calipers, height gages, CMM and surface plate inspection techniques)Must be able to read blueprints.Must be familiar with CAD to enter parameters in inspection software.Ability to work independently as well as work in a team environment.1st shift 7am-3:30 pm Monday-FridayKey ResponsibilitiesConducts daily inspections and testing activities using a variety of inspection tools and techniques; supports production team as needed.Inspects materials received, finished products, and work-in-process of fabricated metal products to ensure conformance with drawing specifications.Performs First Article Inspections and prepares First Article Reports.Calibrates inspection equipment and maintains records in Gagepack database.Performs 100% inspection and adjustments on some lots, as required by customerMaintains inspection records according to company & customer standards.Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
