The Principal Software Developer uses a wide application of principles,
theories, and technology concepts related to Human Resource and Payroll and/or
Supply Chain and/or Finance and/or nurse scheduling and/or IS business processes
and ERP systems, to develop solutions to a diverse array of difficult problems.
Lead project teams to work on a number of complex development projects. Develop
or enhance existing or proposed systems and devices. Mentors and assists others
in support of applications, projects and provides expert guidance in tools,
methodologies, standards, and best practices. Typically collaborates with
Business Analysts or End Users, vendors and Information Services staff to
interpret appropriate requirements and develop complex systems. Will collaborate
with team members, program management, stakeholders, and Business Analysts to
create innovative end-to-end experiences from POC to final product. Employee has
the option to telecommute full-time from a state in which Providence has an
office (AK, WA, OR, CA, MT, TX, NM). Multiple openings.
Applicants must have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Services, Information
Technology, or closely related.
- 10 years experience as a Software Engineer or closely related occupation.
- 10 years experience in application design, development, implementation and
maintenance of one or more of the following large scale Enterprise Resource
Planning systems: Oracle Cloud FSCM and HCM, Oracle EBS/EPM (Hyperion, etc.)
Applications, PeopleSoft, or Workday.
· 10 years of experience demonstrating strong business analytical skills to
gather, document and develop Reports, Integrations, Conversions and Extensions.
- 10 years of experience in developing specifications for ERP implementations.
- 10 years of experience in SQL/PLSQL.
- 5 years experience with large scale business transformation and ERP system
implementation projects with scope spanning multiple regions and/or geographies
and business process areas.
· 5 years experience with implementation or support of Oracle Cloud Suite (HCM,
Payroll, Supply Chain and/or Finance).
· 5 years of experience in Reports development via OTBI, BI, FRS, SmartView, and
HCM Extracts (Payroll Flows).
· 5 years of experience implementing and maintaining personalization and
customization of Oracle ERP application pages.
· 5 years implementation experience of Oracle Standard SOAP and Implementation
of REST Architecture for real-time APIs.
- 5 years of strong hands-on experience with Java and/or Python.
- 4 years of implementation experience of Oracle SaaS Cloud Integration
techniques (FBDI, HDL, REST/SOAP) and/or other ERP integration tools.
· Hands on experience with Middleware technologies, with 4 years of demonstrated
knowledge in platforms (preferably OIC), integration patterns and orchestration
development.
· 3 years of experience in ADF application development or Visual Builder
Development.
· 2 years experience in OCI DI and Oracle Data Integrator.

Pay Range: $138,819 - $208,540 per year

position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this
position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other
applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional
compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials,
standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus
opportunities.
