Senior Income Tax Accountant

Position Overview
This position is responsible for the preparation and filing of various quarterly and annual corporate income tax returns/reports. In addition, this position is responsible for responding to inquiries from taxing authorities and assist the Senior Income Tax Manager and Income Tax Manager with tax examinations.

Job Description
Responsibilities
Preparation and filing of :
quarterly estimates for all states
corporate income tax returns for assigned subsidiaries and supporting workpapers
Assist Income Tax Managers with income tax audits.
Analysis of all tax accounts
Respond to correspondence from taxing authorities
Calculation of quarterly effective tax rates
Required Skills/Education
Candidate must have a minimum of 4 – 6 years of relevant tax experience in public accounting and/or private industry.
Skilled in SAP and Thomson Reuters, OneSource.
Ability to utilize online research tools such as CCH.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and other related programs
Experience preparing tax returns and calculating tax provisions.
4-year undergraduate BS degree in Accounting is required.
MS in Taxation highly desirable.

$80,000 - 110,000 depending on experience
