Job Details Schedule: Full-time (exempt), 40 hours/week, 6:30 AM start time with flexibility as needed. Monday‑Friday, no calls, no holidays, no weekends. Department: OR/pre‑op & PACU Location: Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC), 1730 Kernersville Medical Parkway, Kernersville, North Carolina Unit Info: Service lines primarily ophthalmology, orthopedics, pain management, and podiatry cases. Two ORs and one procedure room. Position: Director of Nursing, overseeing the ASC, managing about 30 team members and reporting directly to the Clinic Administrator. Minimum qualifications: at least 5 years of RN experience, previous ASC experience, pre‑op/PACU experience, and prior leadership experience. Responsibilities This role is the designated Director of Nursing for the Ambulatory Service Center (ASC) location. The Clinical Manager (ASC) is responsible for coordinating nursing practice, fostering continuous improvement, influencing teams, evaluating and designing nursing processes, and collaborating with stakeholders such as the Medical Director and ASC Administrator to achieve safety, quality, patient satisfaction, operational excellence, and growth. Qualifications Education: 2‑year associate degree required; 4‑year bachelor’s degree preferred; BSN preferred. Experience: 5 years required, minimum 3 years in a healthcare setting. Prior experience in an ambulatory surgical center with leadership responsibility preferred. Licensure/Certification: RN, required. Additional Skills (required): Computer literacy: Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel; office equipment operation; proficiency with medical equipment selection and bid process. Clinical equipment operation and proficiency in computer systems. Cooperative work attitude toward staff, patients, visitors, and physicians; decision‑making and problem‑solving ability. Strong patient‑centric care background; facilitation of education and training; ability to meet state, regulatory, accreditation requirements.
