Required Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.

Minimum 5+ years of Civil Engineering experience supporting industrial, petrochemical, refinery, LNG, power, or heavy manufacturing projects

Professional Engineer (PE) license

Experience with site development, grading, drainage, and foundation design.

Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principles and industry standards.

Experience supporting EPC or EPCM projects from design through construction.

Proficiency with STAAD and/or RISA

Nice to Have Skills & Experience: Experience supporting brownfield facility expansions and capital improvement projects.

Refinery, chemical plant, fertilizer, LNG, or energy industry experience.

Previous field engineering or construction support experience.

PMP certification.

Experience mentoring junior engineers and coordinating discipline deliverables.

Job Description: One of our customer's is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to support the design, development, and execution of capital projects within industrial and petrochemical facilities. This individual will be responsible for civil engineering design activities including site development, grading and drainage, foundations, concrete structures, underground utilities, and construction support. The Civil Engineer will work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and field personnel to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Design foundations for process equipment, vessels, tanks, pipe racks, and industrial structures.

Develop site grading, stormwater management, and drainage plans for industrial facilities.

Perform earthwork calculations and site layout design.

Review geotechnical reports and incorporate soil recommendations into project designs.

Design and coordinate underground utility systems and site infrastructure.

Prepare engineering calculations, specifications, reports, and construction packages.

Coordinate with mechanical, piping, structural, process, electrical, and instrumentation teams throughout project execution.

Support project planning, constructability reviews, and scope development activities.

Review contractor drawings, RFIs, submittals, and engineering change requests.

Provide field engineering support during construction, installation, commissioning, and startup activities.

Conduct site visits and inspections to verify compliance with engineering designs and project specifications.

Ensure all work complies with applicable industry codes, standards, environmental requirements, and client specifications.
