CRE Real Estate Analyst (Asset Management and Acquisitions)RETS Associates on behalf of our client, an entrepreneurial Commercial Real Estate firm based in Walnut Creek, CA, is seeking a skilled CRE Real Estate Analyst (Asset Management and Acquisitions) to join our client's team. With a proven track record of optimizing real estate value resulting in over $1 billion in gross assets, this firm holds a diverse portfolio of 5+ MSF across Western markets. The role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate directly with the executive leadership team and to specialize in acquisitions underwriting, asset management, and capital markets.AcquisitionsSupport acquisition due diligence and financial analysis.Contribute to writing and data gathering for Investment Summaries for new acquisitions.Conduct in-depth market research and analysis. Research on market conditions and competition, including lease rates, lease concessions, vacancy and absorption factors.Engage, compile, and analyze third party reports (e.g., Phase I, Property Condition, Survey, Title).Create/modify Argus models for each property and update periodically.Asset ManagementPrepare financial analysis, using Excel and ARGUS, of new lease transactions, financings, and capital projects.Perform lease analysis on new lease transactions and assist with lease proposals (i.e. LOIs).Assist with projects related to leasing, financing, capital projects and tenant management.Maintain Excel spreadsheets for tracking leasing performance and occupancy of portfolio.Compile data and assist with annual property valuations, performed by third-party appraisers.Support in the preparation of annual budgets.Conduct financial analysis of prospective dispositions of existing holdings.Qualifications:BA/BS degree with strong GPA.1-3 years of experience in Commercial Real Estate analysis using Excel. ARGUS is a plus.Excel modeling proficiency required. ARGUS is preferred.Self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who works well in a team environment.Compensation: $90k - 100K base salary plus bonus.
