This position offers an opportunity for an experienced Clinical Research Coordinator to support an RSV vaccine clinical trial at a dedicated research site. The role focuses primarily on patient recruitment activities for an RSV vaccine study, ensuring that participants are identified, pre-screened, and scheduled efficiently while maintaining strict compliance with clinical research standards and protocols.

Responsibilities

• Support the conduct of a clinical trial focused on an RSV vaccine in accordance with study protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Perform detailed chart reviews using the electronic medical record (EMR) system to identify potential study participants who meet inclusion and exclusion criteria.
• Conduct pre-screening of potential participants, verifying eligibility based on medical history, current health status, and protocol-defined criteria.
• Coordinate and schedule patient appointments for study-related visits, ensuring that participants receive timely communication and clear instructions.
• Manage and document patient recruitment activities, tracking outreach, responses, and enrollment status in an organized and accurate manner.
• Collaborate with the research team to address patient eligibility questions and resolve issues related to scheduling or documentation.
• Maintain strict adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines and HIPAA regulations throughout all aspects of patient recruitment and data handling.
• Ensure that all patient information and study records are handled confidentially and accurately within the EMR and study systems.
• Contribute to a fast-paced research environment by prioritizing tasks, meeting timelines, and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.

Essential Skills

• Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Clinical Research Coordinator.
• Proven experience with patient recruitment in clinical research settings.
• Hands-on experience using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for chart review and documentation.
• Strong ability to perform detailed chart reviews to identify eligible study participants.
• Demonstrated experience with pre-screening patients for clinical trials.
• Training in HIPAA regulations and patient privacy requirements.
• Training in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) for clinical research.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced clinical research environment with strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication and organizational skills to coordinate patient appointments and recruitment activities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience working on vaccine or RSV-related clinical studies is an advantage.
• Comfort working within structured research protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with investigators, clinical staff, and other research team members.

Work Environment

The role is based at a clinical research site and follows normal business hours. The environment is fast paced and requires a high level of attention to detail, particularly when performing chart reviews, managing EMR documentation, and coordinating patient recruitment activities. The position involves regular use of electronic medical record systems and other clinical research tools, and requires consistent adherence to HIPAA and GCP standards in a professional clinical setting.

This is a Contract position based out of Norfolk, NE.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Norfolk,NE.
