Position Description & Qualifications

Serco is excited to support the Air Force Modeling and Simulation Support Services (AFMS3) contract. The primary purpose of this contract is to ensure that the Department of the Air Force (DAF), Department of Defense (DoD), and External Partner Agencies maintain cutting-edge Modeling and Simulation (M&S) capabilities that are secure, interoperable, and efficient. The contractor will provide comprehensive support and innovative solutions that enable the continuous evolution and enhancement of M&S systems, ensuring that the DAF and DoD can effectively prepare for and execute their missions with the highest level of readiness and lethality.

Must have an active U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.

To be successful in this role you will have:

• A U.S. citizenship

• An active U.S. Department of War (DoW) security clearance (Secret or higher may be required for some roles)

• The possibility to telecommute (Part-time)

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or additional years of relevant experience in technical, engineering, cybersecurity, or program management fields in lieu of degree)

• 8 years of experience

• Prior experience supporting AFMS, or other DoD M&S programs is strongly desired

• The ability to travel 10%

• Monitor, evaluate, and maintain systems and procedures to protect the data systems and databases from unauthorized users. Identify potential threats and respond to reported security violations. Determine causes of security breaches and research, recommend, and implement changes to procedures to protect data from future violations. Assist in educating users on security procedures.

Salary range: The range for this position can be found at the top of this posting. This range is provided as a general guideline and represents a good faith estimate across all experience levels. Actual base salary will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, the scope of the role, relevant experience, job-related knowledge, education and training, key skills, and geographic market considerations. For roles available in multiple states, the range may vary to reflect differences in local labor markets.
