Job Description

Job Summary:
The X-ray/Radiologic Technician is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures to aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. They ensure safety standards are upheld and maintain imaging equipment to deliver high-quality images efficiently.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and troubleshoot various imaging equipment while ensuring proper care and maintenance.
• Assess patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Follow state, federal, and professional guidelines to perform accurate imaging processes.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to coordinate imaging procedures and document findings.
• Monitor and adjust procedures as needed for optimal results and patient safety.
• Maintain electronic and physical records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications:

• Demonstrate proficiency with diverse imaging equipment including setup, troubleshooting, and care.
• Possess 1-3 years of experience as an X-ray Technician.
• Hold a current NJ State Radiologic Technologist License.
• Be ARRT certified and certified in BLS.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Stay updated on advancements in clinical practice, hardware, and software technologies.
