We are seeking a reliable and efficient Contract Cashier to join our team at 1020 Hull St., Richmond, VA 23224. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using a POS system.
- Handle cash, credit, and debit card payments.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers.
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area.
- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.
- Resolve customer complaints and answer inquiries.
- Assist with restocking shelves and merchandise as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
