Job Description
Ensure patients are properly identified and laboratory requisitions are completely and properly filled out.
Draw and/or collect blood samples properly labeling tubes, ensuring quantity of sample is sufficient for tests to be performed.
Inspect samples to identify visual need to recollect.
Receive lab specimens from clinics, wards and patients.
Ensure all specimens are properly identified with required demographics.
Receive patients, visitors and laboratory telephone calls with a high level of customer service.
Maintain supply inventory, orders, and restock supply area.
