Fabrication WelderSURESTAFF is immediately hiring a Fabrication Welder for a client in Carol Stream, IL. The Fabrication Welder is responsible for building machine frames and components out of structural steel, followed by tearing down completed machines to prepare for transport.SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp-to-hire employees are offered competitive compensation ($20-24/hr.) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision).Available shift: 1st Shift (7am-3:30pm) M-F. Overtime available.Responsibilities of the Fabrication Welder:MIG welding and fabrication of machine frames and components that consist of light gauge sheet metal to heavy gauge tube, flat bar and I-Beam.Fabricating industrial ovens, safety guarding, vacuum tanks, swing doors, fan brackets, catwalks.Grinding and finishing completed products.Perform quality checks on finished components.Installing finished components into machine structures.Disassembling machines for painting and shipping.Material handling with sit-down forklifts and overhead cranes.Required Qualifications of the Fabrication Welder:Previous MIG welding and/or fabrication experience.Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints (or willingness to learn).Experience with saws, shears, drill presses, forklifts, and cranes are a plus.About SurestaffAt Surestaff, we are dedicated to helping individuals unlock their career potential through meaningful job opportunities.
