Branch Sales Manager

About the Role The Selling Branch Manager is responsible for the growth, profitability, and operational success of the branch. This is a true player-coach role: personally driving business development while leading, coaching, and holding Recruiters and Account Managers accountable for exceptional results. The role owns the branch P&L and is responsible for revenue growth, gross profit, recruiting performance, customer satisfaction, safety, compliance, and team development. Responsibilities Sales & Business Development Personally develop new business through prospecting, cold calling, networking, referrals, jobsite visits, and customer meetings. Build relationships with General Contractors and Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, HVAC, Industrial, and other construction contractors. Expand existing customer relationships, identify upcoming projects, and position PROMAN Skilled Trades as the staffing partner of choice. Develop and execute branch sales plans that drive revenue, gross profit, and market share. Leadership & Team Development Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing Recruiters and Account Managers. Create a culture of accountability, teamwork, urgency, professionalism, and exceptional customer service. Lead weekly sales, recruiting, and branch meetings focused on results, strategy, and continuous improvement. Set clear expectations, review activity and performance, address gaps, and recognize success. Branch Operations & P&L Ownership Own branch profitability, budgeting, expense control, and overall P&L performance. Monitor key metrics including revenue, gross profit, fill ratio, recruiting activity, customer retention, payroll and billing accuracy, collections, safety, and branch assessments. Ensure accurate onboarding, payroll, billing, documentation, reporting, and customer communication. Maintain operational excellence and compliance with company policies and applicable employment regulations. Ensure customer orders are filled with qualified, properly screened, and appropriately matched skilled trades professionals. Maintain high standards for interviewing, credential and license verification, testing, onboarding, and documentation. Conduct regular customer visits and jobsite inspections; resolve issues quickly and identify opportunities for growth. #J-18808-Ljbffr
