Cascade Hotel Kansas City is seeking an experienced and service-focused Banquet Captain to help lead banquet and event operations in our upscale Marriott Tribute Portfolio environment. This position is responsible for overseeing banquet service, supporting banquet associates, ensuring successful event execution, and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
Responsibilities
Lead banquet associates during events and functions
Execute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) accurately and efficiently
Ensure exceptional guest service throughout all events
Coordinate event timing, room setup, buffet presentation, and breakdown
Maintain Marriott service standards and professionalism
Support cleanliness, safety, and food service compliance standards
Qualifications
Previous banquet or hospitality leadership experience preferred
Marriott or upscale hotel experience preferred
Strong communication and leadership skills
Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
