About the Role
The Company is in search of a Head of Mergers & Acquisitions to spearhead its acquisition strategy, deal sourcing, transaction execution, and integration planning. The successful candidate will be a key player in driving the company's growth through strategic acquisitions, particularly in the technology, data, AI, and consulting sectors. This executive role demands a professional with a proven track record in middle-market acquisitions, strong financial and transactional expertise, and exceptional relationship-building skills. The Head of M&A will be responsible for developing and executing the company's acquisition strategy, maintaining a robust pipeline of potential targets, and leading end-to-end transaction processes. They will also be involved in post-acquisition value creation, collaborating with leadership teams to identify and realize operational and revenue synergies. Applicants for the Head of Mergers & Acquisitions position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in M&A, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or strategic consulting. The role requires a candidate with a strong understanding of valuation methodologies, financial modeling, and transaction structuring, as well as the ability to balance strategic growth objectives with financial discipline. Preferred qualifications include experience in technology services, consulting, software, data, AI, or adjacent industries, and an existing network within these ecosystems. The ideal candidate will have an MBA or equivalent advanced business education, and a background that includes exposure to private equity-backed organizations.
