Previous roofing experience is preferred but not required. Roofing and inspection training will be provided.Why Join Preferred Roofing?Expected compensation of $100,000–$150,000+ your first yearUncapped commission earning potentialStrong pipeline of company-generated leadsBonus opportunitiesMarketing and lead-generation supportOngoing roofing and sales trainingMentorship from experienced industry professionalsInspection tools and technology providedCompany-branded apparelCareer advancement opportunitiesCompany vehicle upon reaching established sales-performance goalsGrowing Southern California roofing company with 30+ years of experienceWhat You'll DoAs a Roofing Sales Representative, you'll manage the customer relationship from initial contact through contract signing.Your responsibilities will include:Respond quickly and professionally to company-generated roofing leadsGenerate additional residential and commercial roofing opportunities through door-to-door sales, referrals, networking, and relationship buildingConduct on-site residential and commercial roof inspections with training and supportIdentify roofing concerns and clearly communicate inspection findings to customersEducate homeowners, property managers, landlords, and HOAs on roofing systems, materials, warranties, and financing optionsPrepare and present professional roofing estimates and sales proposalsFollow up consistently with prospects throughout the sales processAddress customer questions and objections and confidently ask for the saleDevelop relationships with homeowners, property managers, landlords, HOAs, and referral partnersMaintain an active roofing sales pipelineAccurately document leads, appointments, inspections, proposals, follow-ups, and closed sales in the CRMMeet or exceed established sales and revenue goalsQualifications2+ years of sales experience preferredRoofing, home improvement, solar, construction, HVAC, windows, exterior remodeling, or other in-home sales experience strongly preferredOutside sales and/or door-to-door sales experience is a plusStrong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skillsProven ability to consistently follow up with prospects and close businessComfortable generating additional opportunities through prospecting and networkingSelf-motivated, competitive, and results-drivenCoachable and willing to learn roofing systems, materials, inspections, warranties, and financingComfortable using CRM, proposal, and sales technologyValid driver's license and reliable transportationAbility to attend occasional evening or weekend customer appointments as neededWhat Success Looks LikeDuring your first 90 days, you'll learn Preferred Roofing's products, inspection process, roofing systems, warranties, financing options, CRM, proposal tools, and sales process.You'll shadow experienced team members, participate in roof inspections, learn how to identify common roofing concerns, and develop the ability to confidently present roofing solutions to homeowners and commercial property decision-makers.As you progress, you'll independently conduct inspections, prepare and present proposals, manage company-generated opportunities, build your own pipeline, consistently follow up with prospects, and close residential and commercial roofing projects.Performance will be measured through sales activity, including qualified opportunities generated, roof inspections completed, proposals delivered, follow-up activity, close rate, and roofing revenue generated.Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for someone who knows how to earn trust rather than force a sale.You listen, ask good questions, communicate clearly, and make complicated decisions easier for customers to understand.
