Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department. This unit handles a variety of critical cases with a focus on strong sepsis and stroke management. The ideal candidate should have a robust skill set in emergency care and be familiar with advanced equipment such as Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillators.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Evaluate patient conditions and implement treatment plans.
• Perform emergency procedures and administer medications as needed.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation using Meditech.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Active RN license in the state of Tennessee.
• ACLS, BLS, PALS, and CPI certification required.
• Strong experience in emergency nursing, particularly with sepsis and stroke patients.
