Job Title: Lead Press Operator – 8-Unit Web Press (Night Shift)
We are seeking an experienced Lead Press Operator to oversee production on an 8-unit web press in a high-speed printing environment. This role is responsible for product quality, press performance, and crew leadership , ensuring efficient and consistent production.
This is a great opportunity for a skilled web press operator looking to step into a lead role with strong earning potential, shift incentives, and growth opportunities .
Schedule & Pay Highlights- Shift: Wednesday – Saturday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (36 hours/week)
- Overtime: Paid time and a half after 36 hours
- Shift Differential: Additional pay for all night shift hours
- Sign-On Bonus: $1,000 after 12 weeks
- Lead and oversee operations on an 8-unit web press
- Ensure product quality, productivity, and press performance
- Supervise and support press crew members
- Monitor press output and make adjustments as needed
- Troubleshoot mechanical and production issues
- Maintain safety, quality, and efficiency standards
- Communicate effectively with production and leadership teams
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- High School diploma or GED required
- 4+ years of printing experience , including:
- 3+ years on web press or similar equipment
- Proven mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-output environment
- Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime
- Ability to stand for full shifts and maintain high productivity
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently
- Frequent standing, walking, handling, and reaching
- Occasional climbing, kneeling, crouching, and bending
- Good visual acuity and manual dexterity required
- Must wear required PPE (hearing protection, eye protection, safety shoes)
