Associate Actuary, Annuity Model Development

Actuarial Development ProgramAssociate-level Life actuarial role in Lincoln Financial's Actuarial Development Program, focused on fixed and fixed index annuity model development in Radnor, Pennsylvania, or other listed offices. You'll develop and validate AXIS models supporting valuation, reserves, ALM, financial planning, and capital projections. The hybrid arrangement requires three office days per week.Structured actuarial development programme. Closer to a structured student programme than a pure modelling-heavy IC role—the 18-24-month rotations and FSA support broaden the path beyond one model area.Requirements:Must have:3-6+ years of actuarial experienceExperience with Life and/or Annuity productsStrongly preferred:Actuarial modeling and/or valuation experience, preferably in GGY-AXIS or comparable softwareEffective communication skillsWorks well in a team environmentNice to have:ASA designation from Society of ActuariesFamiliarity with regulatory/accounting/capital frameworks (STAT/GAAP/Tax, CFT/ALM/RBC, Bermuda BEL)Experience pricing annuity products and/or working on Cash Flow Testing, Financial Plan, and ALM projectionsCompetency with Python, SQL, and/or Excel VBAExperience working with business intelligence tools (e.g. Tableau)History of innovation and process improvementSkills & Domain:Tools: Excel, Tableau, Other_BI_Tool.
