You will lead cost, schedule, and performance plans and strategies to enable effective and efficient IT products that include extensive (flag/SES) stakeholder engagements. You will oversee the management all acquisition life cycle phases of assigned programs and projects. You will implement acquisition regulations, policies, and reform initiatives to ensure legal and fiscal execution of the program. You will plan, direct, and evaluate acquisition management, technical development, and financial control for the entire life cycle of Navy business integration in terms of risk, cost, schedule, and performance. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must also demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band DP-03 in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: Oversee and manage human, financial, and information resources that produce high-quality results by applying technical knowledge, analyzing problems, calculating risks and building coalitions. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. Education Additional Information This position is in the Personnel Demonstration Project under authority of Title VII of the Civil Service Reform Act of 1978. The pay schedule and pay band for all Demonstration Project Professional Positions will be DP-1/2/3/4. This position is covered by the Department of Defense Priority Placement Program. Certain incentives (such as Recruitment, Relocation or Student Loan Repayment) may be authorized to eligible selectees. In accordance with NAVWAR Echelon II compensation model, this position has been classified as a DP-04 position with no Control Point. Several vacancies may be filled. A tentative offer of employment will be rescinded if the selectee fails to meet the pre-employment requirements, including failure to report to any of the scheduled appointments.
