Speech Pathologist (Full-time, 1.0 FTE) starting in August 2026. Farmington Public Schools seeks a licensed Speech‑Language Pathologist to provide direct therapy services to students with communication needs as outlined in IEPs or referred by program staff. Location: West Woods Upper Elementary School Qualifications Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders CT Certification (061) Valid state SLP license and ASHA certification (CCC‑SLP preferred) School‑based experience preferred Experience working with children with a range of communication needs Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills Key Responsibilities Provide individual and/or small group speech‑language therapy sessions Implement and monitor IEP goals related to speech and language development Assess, document, and report student progress toward IEP goals Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' communication needs Develop or adapt therapy materials appropriate for summer learning Maintain accurate records and comply with district, state, and federal regulations Participate in IEP meetings, as needed Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Salary $56,018–$114,029 depending upon education and experience Benefits Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance; Life Insurance; 15 Sick Days; 5 Planned Absence Days Application Procedure Apply online at A complete application includes a detailed cover letter, resume, three letters of reference, copies of all college transcripts and State of CT Teacher certification.
