Clinic Ops Leader for Medical Group

Job Title: Dayshift, Full Time, Manager of Clinic Operations Location: INTEGRIS Health Medical Group - Pulmonary, Endocrinology, and Rheumatology South Outpatient Clinics, Oklahoma City, OK. Job Description The Manager of Clinic Operations is responsible for operational clinic site management, including hiring, supervision, and evaluation of all staff. The role handles clinical compliance (Joint Commission, OSHA, CLIA), employment issues, financial and operational reporting, and collaboration with Medical Directors and physicians. Key duties include developing and managing clinic budgets, resolving billing issues, conducting departmental meetings, and leading quality and process improvement initiatives. The manager ensures adherence to National Patient Safety Goals and serves as liaison between physicians, staff, and finance departments. Responsibilities Manage operational, financial, quality, and regulatory compliance for a medical group practice of 5 or more providers. Develop and administer the annual clinic budget for all cost centers. Compile data for analysis and provide recommendations to improve profitability. Educate staff on new processes, systems, and INTEGRIS Medical Group guidelines. Initiate recruitment, interview, and hire staff for the clinic. Evaluate employee performance and determine merit increases. Coach employees and handle corrective action per policy. Address front‑line concerns related to patient accounts from all sources. Collaborate with other departments to resolve coding and billing issues. Approve write‑offs for bad debt and manage third‑party collections. Schedule staff to meet customer satisfaction and financial goals. Supervise up to 25+ employees and manage clinical student internships and rotations. Mentor and train new Clinic Business Managers on operational concerns. Resolve provider‑related issues with the site Medical Director or physician. Develop physician financial reports with IMG finance. Report to the assigned Director. Meet physical demands and respiratory fit test requirements as specified. Maintain a safe physical environment free of hazards. Adhere to hospital policies and Joint Commission requirements when clinics are licensed under a hospital facility. Qualifications Master’s degree in business or health care related field with 3 years prior healthcare management experience, OR Bachelor’s degree in business or health care related field with 4 years of healthcare management experience, OR 5 years of experience in medical group practice or current licensure as RN or LPN in Oklahoma (or multistate license from NLC), or healthcare management experience may substitute for a degree.
