Job Title: Tool and Die Room Coordinator

Reports To: Tool & Die Room Team Leader

Department: Production - 1st shift


Location: Deerfield Manufacturing, Mason Ohio location.

General Function: Safety conscious tow motor driver to move all dies in and out of plant; to and from presses as necessary. Helping maintain all dies.

Job Duties :

• Cleaning and staging of all dies.
• Painting and stenciling of all dies (die identification numbers).
• Update and Maintain Deerfield Tooling list.
• Update Monthly inventory spread sheet for Tool crib.
• Stock drawers and shelves of inventory items as received.
• Verify punch and bushings match print.
• Scan and Enter PM sheet to Excel database.
• Complete Monthly PM on Toolroom equipment.
• Enter repair tags into Excel Data base.
• Update inventory list in tool crib and fasteners.
• Maintaining die barn; keeping dies on racks as well as keeping racks properly identified.
• Cleaning and maintaining the tool room to include the floor, using mop & floor scrubber.
• Verifying all chemicals are properly identified.
• Safety conscious to include proper use of P.P.E.
• All other duties as assigned by team leaders and management.

Working Conditions : Environment includes the tool & die room, plant, die storage barn and outside the plant.

Physical Component(s ): Standing, walking, capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. to include; pushing, pulling, bending, reaching and some stooping; driving tow motor, and floor scrubber. Cleaning tool & die room using cleaning products, use of rust inhibitor.

Education/Experience : Capable of driving a tow motor and use of overhead crane (obtaining Deerfield license(s)). Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in English. Operate computer and Microsoft office programs. Must be very organized, self motivated as well as taking directives.


Other Requirements:

• Help in moving dies in and out of presses.
• Back up press operator
• Willing to work any and all overtime as required.
• Excellent attendance
