TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Wilmington, North Carolina, 28401!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Current nursing license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Telemetry and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience. Experience in interpretation of dysrhythmias and remote monitoring. Pre/Post cardiac catheterization and Pre/Post cardiac surgery experience. Sheath removal experience. Experience in accessing ports, blood product administration, central line care management, and PICC line management. Ability to titrate cardiac drips such as Diltiazem and Amiodarone. Description: RTO after booking is not allowed and may result in cancellation. Call-offs or additional RTO on the unit may lead to cancellation. Floating is required as needed; potential to float every shift. Charge experience is preferred. Patient ratios are 1:5-6. Weekend commitments include 5-6 shifts within a six-week schedule period. Contract staff may be assigned to work during catastrophic events or mass casualties. Unit monitors cardiac patients. Cardiac drips managed include Dobutamine, Amiodarone, Cardizem, Milrinone, and Dopamine. Sheath pulls, TR bands, and Femstop are also part of the unit's procedures. A teamwork approach is essential in all interactions. Strong adherence to call-off policies is enforced.
